I turned Sports Center on and I heard.....
Allen Iverson Trade Rumors

As a player in the NBA, we live our lives knowing that we can be traded at any time.  Right now is a time when all of us are probably watching the media pretty closely to see if anything will come of the Allen Iverson trade rumors.  My rookie year, we played against Philly in the NBA finals.  That year, we had not lost a single NBA playoff game until Allen came in and stunned us in the Staples Center at Game 1 of the NBA finals.  Ultimately, Shaq proved to be too much for anyone on the Philly team to handle, but clearly Allen Iverson is on the most unique talents to come to the NBA in decades. 

If I could have my way, I wouldn't want to be included in any trade nor would I want to lose any of my teammates, but we know it's a business and that management and ownership has to address things from the business/trade side of things.  That being said, I'm excited to watch the A.I. trade sweepstakes on SportsCenter and Google News.

I really like the mix of guys on your team right now. R.D. has become one of my favorite players, Marko has been playing well(I love watching his steals), KG is strong as ever, and just the whole chemistry of the team I think has been awesome lately. If A.I. joins the T-Wolves pack, I will be happy, but at the same time I don't want to lose what I feel like you guys have right now. I feel like everything is working out great right now and I don't want the team to lose any confidence or stability. Whatever happens.. I hope it works out for the best... Take care! Hope your shoulder is healing so we can see you on the court again soon!!!

Yeah, it looks like he's as good as gone. And from what I've read (in the LA Times) and online, Minnesota is one of the main spots he could end up. Hope you stay put though...I like you on the Wolves! But as you say: it's a business. Plain and simple. Either way, you'll be fine!

Mark, we need to keep you here buddy. We need to trade about 3 of our guards and try to keep a hold of Foye. Lets face it, if we could put KG and AI out there together, wow that would be very special. Those two and 2 other guys who can play some "D", and one spot up shooter. All you need.

How about a comment on all the KG trade rumors? What do you think about a AI for KG trade?

AI for Garnett would be pointless. If the Wolves deal Garnett, they'd be much better off trading for youth and draft picks, because without Garnett, you might as well start over.

Congratulations on the ball being reversed! I'm sure you and the rest of the players are pretty happy. Looks like Stern is a reasonable man afterall.

I'm following the AI story closely out here in Boston, since we're supposed to be in the mix too. There's no doubt that Foye would be included in such a deal, as well as Ricky and at least one first round draft pick. The Celtics have some young studs too, so we'll see what happens. I do think AI would be a far better fit with Garnett than Pierce though.

Hope your shoulder's feeling better.

Congrats on X-ing out the new ball. I just heard on the television (around 9:30 p.m.) that they are going back to the old spalding!!! Yay :)
